Charge Nurse Leadership Council
Since becoming a Charge Nurse on Medical/Surgical Progressive Care Unit (MS PCU), I have attended 100% of the Charge Nurse Leadership Council (CNLC) meetings. I have also been actively attending the leadership courses that are offered by Professional Resources. I have completed five of the courses that are offered and plan to continue attending other classes to improve my leadership skills as I grow as a leader. The classes that I have attended so far are Leadership Styles and Approaches, Buddy to Boss, Coaching 1 (Basic), Change Leaders, DISC and Constructive Conflict Communication. They have helped me in developing my leadership skills in communication, crucial conversations and helping from transforming from co-worker to leader.
This is the attendance record for CNLC for 2014.

DISC is a test that indicates an individuals behavioral traits. I was a very interesting class. I was a bit surprised by the results that came about myself.
